SORRY, PIE FRIDAYS CANCELED THIS WEEK DUE TO THE LOSS OF MY BEAUTIFUL DOG DEE DEE.

Sorry if you tried to get pies from me yesterday and I wasn't there.  My beautiful old dog Dee Dee, the love of our life passed away yesterday afternoon when her heart stopeed working.  She was such a trooper, and survived so many things but yesterday her old heart couldn't keep on beating.  We're too sad to sell our pies today.

NEW PIE ALERT: CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE PIE!!

It took me a couple of tries but here it is, Chocolate Cheesecake Pie!  The first time I made it it was way too sweet and rich...I mean obviously it'll be a bit rich, it's Chocolate. Cheese. Cake, each of those words by themselves are like the richest foods in existance,  so I tried to use a light touch so it's not overwhelming.  I added some bittersweet chocolate along with semisweet so that the dark bitterness clears out the sweetness and then at the end of the bite the tartness of the cream cheese comes in. 
I will make it the next time it doesn't rain...will that ever happen?
