Hello Pie friends,
The sad news is is that I did a lot of soul searching this weekend and realized that I love making pies for people but I don't want to own a restaurant.  I'm shutting down my Kickstarter campaign(all pledges will immediately be voided).  I deeply regret getting everyone's hopes up and then backing out but I guess it takes you standing at the precipice of opening a place to realize it's not the right choice for you.  I cant thank you enough for all your support and I've been honored that you've chosen my pies over all others.

FREE PIE!! Pies for my Kickstarter Pie Party, Friday, March 28th!

 Hello! My pie party will be tomorrow, Friday March 28th between 4 and 7 pm.  I'm serving free pie and beer and wine. Relax and have a drink while you're waiting for your pie slices.  Eat them there or get them to go.  I'm having Toffee Banana Cream, Pumpkin with a Ginger Cookie Crust, Mixed Berry, Key Lime and Double Chocolate Cheesecake.  I have no idea how many people are coming, so I have to limit everyone's pie amounts to 2 slices unless near the end, it turns out no one came and I have a bunch of pie then you can go crazy.  It'll be in my backyard at 99 Lilac st at 25th in the Mission.  Lilac is a small alley running parallel with Mission st.  It's in between Mission and Capp st.  Below is the image of the fence and the gate.  I'll put a pie friday poster on it too.

Kickstarter Campaign update!

Hello!
So my Kickstarter raised 10,000 dollars since it launched on Friday!  Thanks so much to everyone who has forwarded the info to friends and families or who have given to it themselves.  I want to get Pie Fridays back to the people, I know we can do it.
Also, come and get some free pie to remind yourself of the good ol' days this Friday at my Kickstarter Pie Party.  I think it's going to be in my backyard, I'll finalize and give location in a day or two.

Kickstarter Campaign starts tomorrow!

Kickstarter Pie Party Announcement!!

Hello!
One minute ago I submitted my Kickstarter Campaign and am waiting for them to okay it so it can go live!!!  My goal is to start it this Friday but I'm not sure how long the submission process takes but you'll be the first to know.
I thought that it's been way too long for you guys to not have some Pie Fridays in your belly so to celebrate our Kickstarter launch I'm going to have a Kickstarter Pie Party with free pie slices and some beer and wine.  Have a drink while you're waiting for your pie!  Pick up some pie, share it with a friend that has never had it before and then everyone can give support together!  I'm going to do it Friday after this one which is March 28th.
I'm also planning one or two more Kickstarter Pie Parties as my campaign goes on...so you'll get a few chances to get some pie over the 36 days it'll be going.

Kickstarter Sneak Peak#1: Prizes!

Hope everyone is doing okay being pieless...But it's not forever.  I'm getting my Kickstarter campaign finished up and I thought I'd give you a sneak peak into stuff you can win by supporting the project.  I'm going to have stickers and magnets, pie slice punch cards, pie parties, pie lessons and, what I think is the coolest prize, Pie Fridays Blue Star Card, Red Star Card, Silver Star Card, Gold Star Card and the above, Platinum Star Card.  The Kickstarter Campaign is going to be the only time you can get these.  They are worth free coffee and a la mode...The pictured Platinum Star Card is worth a lifetime of free coffee and a la mode--It pays for itself a bunch of times over!!

Long Live Pie Fridays!!!!

Well, the worst has happened but I'm totally pumped about it and you should be too. Here's why--After three long years on the street Pie Fridays is going to have a beautiful, wonderful, warm, cozy place for you to get your pies every day, from early morning till very late at night.  My Kickstarter campaign is launching in March, with your help, here are some of the things I will have for you!

My Health Department hearing...

So I just finished my Health Dept hearing which was an actual hearing with an actual judge in an actual gigantic courtroom.  Here I am freaking out about it, sitting alone, while people filed in with their lawyers.  The wonderful people down there just gave me a warning and did not give me a fine which they did not have to do at all.
Currently I am working on my Kickstarter campaign to open a brick and mortar and am figuring out my next move to get pies to the people.

An Unhappy Valentine's Day!! I got shut down by the health dept!!

Get your valentine some pie on Friday!  It doesn't seem like it's supposed to rain on Friday so I will be at the above park (on Linda and 19th)at 4pm on Friday.  I'm having a couple of chocolate pies because that's what Valentine's Day is for, right? 
I'll be having the rarely made but very sexy, Chocolate Covered Cherry, the brand new Chocolate Malt Banana Cream,  the tart and refreshing Lemon Custard with Graham Cracker Crust and the perennially delicious Pumpkin with a Ginger Cookie Crust.

NO PIE AGAIN!! Rain predicted for Friday evening!

Hi you guys!
Gosh, I'm so sorry I won't be out this Friday because rain's predicted for the evening in the majority of reports.   Well, we need the rain but we also need pie!  I will see you next Friday, hopefully.  I'll post a couple of photos of savory things I'm going to offer when we open up a place, it won't make up for no pie but will give us all hope for a time in the future where rain will not stop the pie.

Pie for Friday, January, 31st!!!

I'm back!  I'm having the same pies that I was supposed to last week before I got sick.  I'm having Blueberry Orange, Coconut Banana Cream, Dark Chocolate Pumpkin and Lemon Cheesecake with Ginger Cookie Crust.

Pie Fridays is back!! Pies for Friday, Jan. 10th!

Hey you guys, I'm back!
It's been so long.  I'll be out at the above park(19th and Linda which is  between Valencia and Guerrero) at 4pm on Friday the 10th with Chocolate Banana Cream, Pumpkin with a Ginger Cookie Crust, Apple Crumble and, the brand new, Sourcream Lemon with a Poppy Seed Crust...and fresh whipped cream, of course!

I've started working on my Kickstarter video for my campaign. So soon, with everyone's help, you can have Pie Fridays everyday!
