Britt's Revamped Pie Cart! (So Masculine!)

Poor Britt has been having to use a banged up, broken down and--let's face it --totally unsexy pie cart when he helps me on Fridays.  The doors didn't open all the way, all the knobs had fallen off leaving just the screws behind and it was a baby blue that was starting to look grubby.  So this weekend I revamped his cart.  I wanted it to look sleek like a race car or another manly machine.  I like it so much I might use it for myself on Saturdays when he's not using it.

I'm Back!! Pies for Friday and Saturday, July 13th and 14th!!!

Hi!
I will be on 19th and Valencia at 5pm on Friday and Saturday with the above pies.  They are Cherry Pie, Strawberry Raspberry Pie, Lemon Custard with Graham Cracker Crust and--a new mix of Banana Cream Pie--Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Banana Cream Pie.

Successful Peanut Butter Banana Cream Pie Experiment!!!!Debuting this weekend!!

So making Cream Pies is a win-win for the pie cart. I can make Cream Pies quickly and easily and people seem to be enjoying an endless love affair with them. So that's why I am always coming up with new forms of cream pies. Like this one, por ejemplo --Peanut Butter Banana Cream Pie. I made it today as an experiment and it's awesome, even if you're like Britt and you don't like peanut butter you will love this pie. He deigned to try a slice of pie today and, well, you can see what happened, he vacumed every little bit up off the plate. He called it fabulous--which is a word I have never heard him utter before.

The lucky thing about the success of this pie is, as you can see from this artist's rendering, I can also turn it into a delicious Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Cream Pie!

I am definitly having this pie this weekend so please stop by to try it...even if you're not a peanut butter lover.

New Pie:Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Custard!!

The rainy weekend gave me time to do a pie experiment that I've been wanting to do for like ever. This is a peanut butter custard with a chocolate cookie crust and then covered in chocolate ganache. I might make one of these next weekend to see how it sells.
